There have been some changes in times to celebrate Halloween for two of the cities in Logan County.

The city of Lewisburg was scheduled to celebrate Halloween on Tuesday, Oct. 30 as city churches planned to have a festival that night. The city has now changed the celebration to Wednesday, Oct. 31. from 5-8 p.m. The community festival will be held on Second Street in Lewisburg.

The city of Russellville isn’t changing the day of celebration which is Wednesday, Oct. 31 but they have backed their Trick or Treating hours up by a half an hour now scheduled from 4:30-7 p.m.

The City of Russellville gives a little advise to Trick or Treaters this year. Visit only people you know, such as friends, neighbors and relatives, let a trusted adult check all treats before they are eaten, be aware of traffic, carry a flashlight to help you see and to allow motorists to see you easily and cross at street corners and never between vehicles.
