Tobacco meeting and private pesticide applicator training

The Logan County Extension Service, University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service and the Eastern Dark-Fired Tobacco Growers Association will host the Logan County Tobacco meeting on February 18, 2010. The meeting will be held at the Logan County Extension office beginning at 9 a.m.

Dr. Andy Bailey, Associate Extension Professor/Tobacco Specialist for the University of Kentucky will discuss variety Selection, Black Shank Management, Curing and Pesticide Use. Lunch will be served for participants followed by a private Pesticide applicator training.
