Dear Editor:
We would like to commend our police department and sheriff’s department for the great job they did at our annual 8th of August block party. They were there the entire time. They walked and mingled with the crowd. Our youth and all felt safer and welcomed their presence. We couldn’t have done it without you.
The youth had a ball. The elders had a good time watching them.
Again, thanks for watching over the citizens. We have some great policemen on the force.
