The United Methodist temple, in Russellville, is sponsoring a taste-tempting “Taster’s Luncheon,” which will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 9.

This annual event started in 1972 and has become a much-enjoyed and anticipated event in Russellville each year.

Participants have the opportunity of tasting delicious entrees made by church members who pride themselves on creating the best and most delicious recipes.

This event is just one of many planned during Russellville’s week-long Tobacco & Heritage Festival.

Tickets will be on sale Oct. 1-5 at the United Methodist Temple Church office between 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or by calling Darla Sparks at 270-726-9258.
