Howdy from our little community. We’ve shelled peas again. To repeat myself, this is something I can do to help someone else. So, do you need any peas shelled? We will do it.

A date to remember is September 15th, the Kisselbaugh family will have their good time together at the Green Ridge Community Center. That family has a bunch of good cooks. Hope I can make it, I enjoy that family. In fact, Bob and the kids were all cousins. Their family is like a lot of other now, several of them have passed away. There will be hot dogs, burgers, desserts, all those good eats.
Jerry Hart and Roger Gibson ate breakfast with Virginia Hart.
I had a good visit one night this week by phone with Leon Gant. Don’t know when ever I saw he and Earldean last, but I enjoyed the visit. When he and Earldean went to get married, Bob and I went with them. I remember it was the Methodist preacher at Epley and I’m not sure I remember his name.

We had a very good rain Sunday, almost all day. I think the weatherman is promising more. It like the old saying, “Rained the first day of the month, it will rain for 15 days in the month.”
