S. Glenn McMillen, 73, of Lake Wales Fla., passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born September 1, 1939, in Russellville, to the late Guy and Louise McMillen; and came here from Fort Pierce seven years ago. He retired from Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce and was of the Baptist faith.

Glenn was preceded in death by his first wife, Gretchen Upton McMillen.

A celebration of life service will be held from 2:00 until 5:00 pm Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the family’s residence. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Gloria A. McMillen; two sons, Stephen McMillen (DeeAnn) of Mobile, Ala., and Jeff McMillen of Memphis, Tenn.; two step-daughters, Gerri Baggott of Lakeland, Fla., and Ginger King of Fort Pierce, Fla.; one brother, Guy McMillen (Doris) of Russellville; and three grandchildren, Taylor & Savannah McMillen and Cameron Baggott.
