Russellville senior catcher Seth Washington was selected to play in the East vs West high school All-Star game this past week. Washington would play both games in the showcase and did not disappoint the numerous college scouts in the audience. In the first game Washington broke open the game with a two out single to score two runs. In the second game Washington collected a walk at the plate before gunning down a runner trying to steal on him. He would also show his versatility by playing the last three innings of the game at second base.
