It’s that time of year again!
Calvary General Baptist Church will be celebrating “Operation Good Tidings” at Wal-Mart in Russellville on Saturday December 8th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. “Operation Good Tidings” is when we, in a very small way, try to show the love of Christ to our community by giving FREE hot chocolate and cookies to shoppers during this joyous season. We know that sometimes the hustle and bustle can become overwhelming and this is our way of showing the unconditional love that Jesus has shown to us all. We will not ask for donations nor will we accept any donations, if you feel you must donate we suggest your local church, Toys for Tots, Salvation Army, or any charity you so desire.
So if you are at Wal-Mart on the 8th stop by, say hello, and enjoy some refreshment. And remember that Jesus is the reason for EVERY season!
