Lena Montez Davis, 86, of the Clifty Community, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at Logan Memorial Hospital Emergency Room in Russellville.
She was born in Tishcamingo County, Miss. June 19, 1926, a daughter of the late George Washington and Sarah Daniels Hudson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin William Davis; her daughter, Lena Mae White; her sister, Aline Smith, and her granddaughter, Lisa Haley.
Mrs. Davis was retired from the M&M Mars Candy Company. She was a member of the Eastport Missionary Baptist Church in Iuka, Miss.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 4 at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton with Reverend Neil Immel officiating. Burial followed in the Wiley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation began Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her son, William David Davis of Lewisburg; her daughter, Dolly Haley of Lewisburg; her sister, Nona Dixon of Alabama; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
