Peggy L. Holland, 60, of Shepherdsville, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012.

She is a daughter of Christine Hester the late Walter Hester Sr. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holland is preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter S. and Bertha Hester and Mary Long.

Mrs. Holland was a homemaker, a member of New Grace Church and Family Adult Day Care.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 1 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Eden Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday. Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. -8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin R. Holland Sr.;her son, Marvin R. Holland II (Lisa); her daughters, Amanda Holland-Perkins (Jeremy) and Jennifer Holland; her sisters, Rose Mary Williams (Bill Wayne) and Kathy Tichenor (Monty); her brothers, Walter M. Hester, Jr. (Vickie) and Johnny Hester (Sheila); her grandchildren, Curtis Yankey and Theresa Holland, and many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
