Donnie Thomas, 67, of Russellville died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008 at his residence.

Mr. Thomas was born Jan. 7, 1941 to Ruby Cox Thomas of Russellville and the late Claude Thomas. He was a farmer and a member of The New Hope General Baptist Church.

Funeral services were Friday, January 18 at The New Hope General Baptist Church with Brother Arno Kranz, Brother Hank Hubbs and Brother Mike Humble officiating. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Katie Thomas of Russellville; his son, Bucky Thomas of Russellville; his daughters, Beth Jenrette of Cub Run and Darlene Gormley of Russellville; his sisters, Helen Grisham and Peggy Keeling of Russellville; and nine grandchildren.
