Jimmy Morgan, 70, of Russellville, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Logan County May 16, 1942. He was preceded in death by his son, John Wayne Morgan and daughter, Brenda Gail Morgan.

Mr. Morgan worked with heavy equipment for most of his life.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 23 at 2 p.m. at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Brother Steve Reed officiating. Burial followed in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation began Saturday, Dec. 22 from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec, 23 from 8 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Jeff Johnson, Taylor Morgan, Travis Morgan, John Stahl, Jerry Armstrong and Devon Day.

He is survived by his wife, May Belle Bilyeu Morgan of Russellville; his sons, Dean Morgan of Russellville and Bobby Morgan of Lewisburg, Ky.; his daughter, Debbie Crain of Munfordville, Ky.; his sister, Pat Jenkins of Lewisburg, Ky.; his grandchildren, Pam Morgan, Daniel Crain, Leslie Armstrong, Travis Morgan, Taylor Morgan and McKenzie Wood, and five great-grandchildren.
