James E. Peden, 69, of B. Nealy Road, Russellville, died Sunday, October 28, 2012, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

He was a Logan County native, born September 22, 1943 to the late Thomas Everett Peden and Rutha Mae Cross Peden. He worked at Eaton Cutler Hammer. He was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist church and the Lions Club.

A memorial service for James E. Peden will be conducted at 7 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2012 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Freudenthal officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday beginning at 5 p.m. and lasting until the service hour at 7 p.m.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Hope Peden Fuller, and son-in-law and golfing buddy, Brian; granddaughter, Erin Macy Fuller, all of Jonesborough, Tenn.; loving companion, Johnnie Sue Duncan of Russellville; sisters, Joyce Milam of Russellville and Janet Trimble of Adairville; life long friend, Billy Griffin and wife Lillie of Russellville; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
