Gordon Grisham, 85, of Russellville, died Monday, July 30, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Logan County March 10, 1927, a son of the late Orby and Cara Joseph Grisham. In addition to his parents, Mr. Grisham was preceded in death by his sister, Isabelle Kluss.
Mr. Grisham was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church and was retired from the propane division of Southern States in Russellville.
Funeral services for Gordon Grisham were held Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 2 p.m. at Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Brother John Franklin officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation began Wednesday, Aug. 1 after 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were, Michael Nuckols, Jon Paul Bray, Dyllon Grisham, Jason Lawrence, Brett Macht and Gary Thomas.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Grisham; his son, Graig Grisham of Russellville; his daughters, Dwinda Stinson of Russellville and Anthonye “Toni” Nuckols of Louisville; his foster-daughter, Pat Cabbage of Charlotte, N.C.; his step-daughters, Varnell White of Russellville, Jane Tua of Columbus, Ohio, Lee Ann Gay of Silone Springs, Ariz. and Carmilla McFadden of Franklin; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Post Oak Baptist Church.
