Butch Brokofsky, 67, of Russellville, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Scott City, Kan. Aug. 29, 1944, a son of the late Davis Dade and Malinda Agustus Joens Brokofsky.

Mr. Brokofsky was an electrician for Logan Aluminum and was a member of the Green Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services were held Monday July 30 at 11 a.m. at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Brother Joe Vaught officiating. Burial followed in the Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, Tenn. Visitation began Sunday, July 29 after 5 p.m. and Monday, July 30 after 8 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Lyndell Jenkins, Mike Keel, Dewayne Smith, Tyler Brokofsky, Zach Brokofsky and John Miller.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Pittman Brokofsky; his son, David Brokofsky and wife Dorenda of Adairville; his daughter, Stephanie Underwood and husband Randy of Russellville; his brothers, Richard D. Lang of Cole Camp, Mo., Robert D. Brokofsky of Independence, Mo. and Ruben D. Brokofsky of Scott City, Kan.; his sister, Opal Estes of Bath, N.Y., and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer society.
