Edith Pauline Christian, 84, of Lewisburg, died on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at her home.

She was born Sunday, March 18, 1928 in Logan County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Hark and Jesse Taylor White. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Christian was preceded in death by husband, Lyndall Christian.

Mrs. Christian was employed by Red Kap. She was affiliated with Gideons International.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 19 at 2 p.m. at Price Funeral Home with the Brother Jimmy Kenner and Jimmy White officiating. Burial followed in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation began Saturday, Aug. 18 at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her son, Michael Christian of Lewisburg; her daughter, Martha Johnson of Bowling Green; her brothers, Henry David White of Lewisburg and John White of Jamestown; her sister, Jesse Hammond of Russellville; her grandchildren, Shannon Collins of Bowling Green, Amanda Stokes and Natalie Jessup, both of Lewisburg, Kenny Johnson of Fairview, Tenn. and Ricky Johnson of Woodburn, and 11 great-grandchildren.
