He was born in Detroit, Mich., Oct. 19, 1944, a son of Ann Elizabeth Borders Mann and the late Alva Homer Mann.
Mr. Mann was a diesel mechanic and a United States Army veteran. He was a Methodist by faith.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 10 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with Reverend Bart Myers officiating. Latham Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Mann is survived by his son, James Howard Mann of Christian County; his finacé, Mary Wheeler Dixon; his daughters, Karen Ann Mann of Christian County and Cynthia Gilbreth of Elkton; his brother, Johnny Mann of Oxford, Miss.; his sister, Linda Lyon of Elkton; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
