William Franklin Brown Sr., 66, of Bowling Green, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at his home.

He was born in Alton, Ill., a son of the late Clifford and Daisy Mae Thomas Brown. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Sue Hunton Brown.

Mr. Brown was a service rep for Xerox. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Russellville, the Masonic Lodge #31 in Columbia, Tenn. and the Eastern Star #45 in Columbia, Tenn.. He was also a member of the Arrington Fire Department in Arrington, Tenn. and was a United States Air Force veteran.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 10 at Hardy & Son Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Bowling Green Gardens with Military Honors. Visitation began at the funeral home Saturday, March 9 from 5-8 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 7:30 p.m.

He is survived by his sons, William Franklin Brown Jr. (Gloria ) and Thomas Christopher Brown (Lori); his grandchildren, Aidan Brown, Justin Brown (Heather Hill) and Megan Brown (Justin Parker); his brothers, David Brown (Marty) and Brian Brown (Valerie); his sisters-in-law, Debbie Campbell and Barbara Williams (Danny), and several nieces and nephews.
