Julian Carter, 86, of Adams, Tenn., died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Indian Mound, Tenn. Aug. 25, 1926, a son of the late Robert P. (Bob) and Ada Marie Krentz Carter.
Mr. Carter was a retired farmer.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of the Cook-Webb Funeral Home with Brother Stephen Childers and David Key officiating. Visitation began Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. until time of service in funeral home. Burial followed in the Highland Cemetery.
he is survived by his wife of 59 years, Datha Carter; his son, Robert Carter and wife Jill of Cullman, Ala.; his daughters, Janet Burkes and husband Floyd and Julia Nottingham and husband Aubrey, both of Clarksville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
