March 2nd was the Regional Archery Tournament in Metcalfe County.
The team had a flight time of 1:45, lined up on targets 2-25. The awards weren’t until 7 p.m. that night. As the night wore on the Logan County Cougars anticipated a victory. The announcers of Metcalfe county went through Elementary and Middle School awards and then finally got to the high school female division.
The awards for the High School Female Division are as follows: 2nd place, Christian Lynch; 3rd place, Jenny Colbert; and 4th place, Marah Harris. After the high school female division came the high school male division. The awards are as follows: 1st place, Austin Smotherman; 2nd place, Ryan Hudson; 4th place, Kaleb Taylor; and 5th place, Cody Goodman. Austin Smotherman received the overall male award in the Region.
The Logan County Archery team took first place in the NASP and KHSAA divisions. Congratulations to the archers and Go Cougars!
