Logan County FFA takes part in Field Day at WKU

On April 15, some of the Logan County FFA members went to participate at an FFA Field Day at the WKU L.D. Brown Agriculture Exposition Center. The contests began at 9:45 a.m. and continued throughout the day. The Logan County FFA had 38 members attend the field day. These members were as follows: Agribusiness Interview– Hunter Bevil; Agribusiness Selling– Emily Chambers; Agriculture Mechanics– Michael Haley, Derek Redding and Dustin Chestnut; Agronomy– Keith Richey; Dairy Judging– Jacob Hopkins, Justin Hopkins, Jared Simmons and Robyn Estes; Environmental Science Demonstration– Steven Weir and Barret Rogers; Recreation Demonstration– Cotton Hazel and Hannah Hudnall; Agricultural Mechanics Demonstration– Jacob Tomes; Production Agriculture Demonstration– Dalton Knuckles and Amelia Wilson; Horticulture Outdoor Demonstration– Catie Martin, Mary Beth Eicher, Marissa Mullins and Daniel Chick; Agri-Biotechnology Demonstration– Fischer Thurston and Justin Holloway; Floriculture– Sarah Jones, Jessi Brown, Hannah Collins and Ashley Taylor; Horse Judging– Gaige Chyle, Brooke Thomas and Derek Boisseau; Livestock Judging– Justin Allen, Jon Haley, Logan Fugate and Shenna Bilicki; Soil Judging– Patrick Penrod; Record Keeping– Megan Scarbrough; Seed Identification– Jackson Prior; and Tractor Driving– Jon Keith Smith. The members worked hard and competed very well.
