Good morning.

What a beautiful Monday. had a blessed weekend. Got a little rain Saturday and Sunday had blue skies. We also had a wonderful service at church.

Friday evening at the Village Apartments, our outreach was a joy. At least 21 showed up. Nancy and Ann and Bro. Gleason. Come on back again. Bro. Gary Christmas brought the message. They had a good singing and get together.

Tony Lee Schultz passed. We are sorry for the family. Hold on to God’s unchanging hand. (He was only 53.)

Life is short, eternity is forever. Slow down and smell the roses.

My grandchildren spent Saturday night with MeMaw and Pepaw, Kylie Rager and Dylan Rager. It was a joy. I love you.

We are all guilty of too much. Facebook, cell phone, texting, tweeting and too much eating. Go out and visit Mother Nature. She is so beautiful and it is free. Get back to basics.

Dona Hildabrand and Debbie Agee went to Nashville today. Pray. Dona’s report is good.

To live high on the hog, you have to start with a pig. You figure it out. Ha!

I’ve had lots of nice phone calls about the Lewisburg News. Thank you for reading. Buy the News-Democrat & Leader. Send it as a gift to a friend.

The senior citizens meet every fourth Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Lewisburg Complex for a pot luck. There are games and music on the second Tuesdays.

There will be a youth revival Sept. 16 and 17 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 364 4th Street in Lewisburg. It will be 7 p.m. nightly. Everyone is welcome.

Write the date down. It’s a little early, I will write it again.

Read Bro. Larry Eaton’s message in Friday’s paper.

I am going to the “Big R” – another name for the Ranger Grill – to eat gravy and biscuits. I love it!

This is hump day, I just walked past the mirror.

I was just told that Mrs. Alma Coursey fell and broke her hip. She is in the Medical Center. Danny Coursey and Milton McIntosh get well soon.

God bless.
