On Dec. 1, 2008, the Logan County FFA Chapter Competed at Western Kentucky University in the following competitions: Ag Sales, Small Engines, Welding and Jr. Parly. The Ag Sales Team, consisting of Tyler Toon, Chelsea Jones, Justin Allen and Luke Wetton, placed first. , The Small Engines Team, made up of Jacob Tomes, Logan Fugate, Aaron Schubert and Chad Pierce, placed second in the competition. The Welding Team of Dyllan Gunderson, Zack Edwards, Tyler Knuckles and Nick Schubert tied for fifth. The Jr. Pary team, consisting of Jeff Tinsley, Polly Cowan, Jessie Mequiar, Jessica Birchum, Brenna Brown, McKinzie Young, Micheala Belcher, Christina Caffee, Kate Brooks and Amber Thorlton, place second in their competition.
