Russellville baseball was going on the road to take on Butler County on Friday but due to the weather had to cancel. Then they looked to try and play a game against Owensboro at home on Saturday but due to the rain on Friday, had to cancel that game as well. They look to resume the season tonight against Todd County Central. Not counting last night’s game against Fort Campbell the Panthers have a 7-4 record going into the distrct game against the Rebels. They will try and snap this two game slide and get back to their winning ways.
Logan County baseball was to take on Owensboro on Saturday before the Red Devils faced off against the Panthers later that day. But due to the playing conditions of the field they had to call off the game. The Cougars have a 8-3 record and are on a six game winning streak. They look to keep that success up when they go to Franklin-Simpson tonight for a district showdown.
The Lady Cougars looked to play the Lady Dragons at home last Friday, but due to the rain the game was canceled. Not counting last night’s game against the Lady Dragons at Warren Central they have a record of 1-6. They will resume the season tonight when they take on the Lady Rebels in a district 13 match up. They will try and shake off this five-game slide and defend the home field tonight.
