Andersons plead guilty

Larry and Julie Anderson of Auburn pleaded guilty Thursday afternoon in a Bowling Green federal courtroom on charges stemming from their arrest on August 15, 2002.

A search of the couple's residence found 431 plants of marijuana, 17 pounds of processed marijuana, and 24 firearms.

Forty-nine year old Larry Anderson admitted manufacturing marijuana over 100 pounds, possession to cultivate to distribute, possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime, and possession of firearms by unlawful user of drugs.

Mr. Anderson faces a maximum of 60 years in prison and up to $3,250,000 in fines. His sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 27.

Fifty-one year old Julie Anderson pleaded guilty to manufacturing marijuana over 10 pounds and faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and up to $2 million in fines. Her sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 25.
