Greetings from The Antioch Community.

Five of our WMU Ladies went to the Logan Todd Quarterly meeting April 11th at Tiny Town Baptist Church. Sure had good refreshments before the meeting. It sure was a good program. A group from Grace & Mercy was there. Four young ladies gave their testimonies of how they had been in drugs and jail before they came to Grace & Mercy and had been saved and straightened themselves out. It was wonderful to listen to them and their counselor. Those going from Antioch was Melba, Avanell, Cynthia, Marcie and myself.

We had our Easter Sunrise Service Sunday morning in the Pavillion. Had in the 30’s attended.

The birds were happy and really chirping. Bro. Clardy preached and we sang and had some who gave their testimony.

Then we went to the Fellowship Hall and the men cooked Breakfast. They prepared biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs and pancakes. Everything sure was good. we have some good men cooks at church. We enjoyed the fellowship until time for Sunday School and the worship hour. Cindy sang a special for us yesterday. She is good. We had visitors for the Sunrise Service, the breakfast and the worship hour.

Remember Karen Johnson who is in St. Thomas Hospital. also Michelle Winters is in Nashville having some tests run.

Juanita Key hasn’t felt very good this past week.

We had Bruce and Tammy Thornberry at church Easter Sunday all the way from Texas.

We since sincere sympathy to the Richard White family and to the Bill Taylor family.

He is not here, He has risen! Luke 24:6

Have a good week.
