Greetings from The Antioch Community.
Sure has turned cold, hasn’t it?
We had out Thanksgiving meal Saturday night in the Fellowship Hall. Had a good meal with turkey, dressing, gravy and all the trimmings and dessert. Sure was good. We had about 60 people present. Everyone enjoyed the food and the fellowship. We were glad to have all the visitors.
My great-great grandson, Shaun Brown, turned 2 years old on Friday the 18th. They had his birthday party Saturday. He is growing and so cure.
We will have our Christmas Program on Dec. 18th. We will have our Christmas Dinner at noon after the worship hour.
We didn’t get to have our Senior trip in November because Melba’s son fell out of his deer stand and was hurt really bad and Melba wasn’t able to drive the bus. He is much better and able to walk now.
So maybe we will get to go somewhere in December is the weather permits.
Sure sorry to hear about the passing away of Kenneth Goodman on Monday morning. His wife Marylin is a member of our Tops club. She helps weigh us. So we send Sympathy to her and the family. We don’t know when out time is coming to pass away from this life, so be sure you are prepared to leave this world and go to a better place, which is heaven.
Hope all of you had a Happy Thanksgiving and a safe one. Be safe as you travel.
Have a good week.
