Greetings from The Antioch Community.
We sure do need some rain. This hot weather is sure hard on the crops. So let’s pray that the good Lord will send us some rain.
Dolores and Pat went to Greenville and ate at IDK Restaurant. Dolores said it was good.
Our Senior outing in August is to go to the IDK Restaurant.
We didn’t get to go on our Senior outing in July because Juanita Key was in the Hospital and had to have surgery and Melba had to stay with her mama in the Hospital. So she couldn’t drive the bus for us.
Our air conditioner was out in the church Sunday so we had Sunday School and the worship hour in the Fellowship Hall. Sure was cold in there.
Juanita Key is doing better since her surgery and has been moved out in a room.
I talked to my brother-in-law Louie Schmidt Saturday. He said it was hot out there in Branson, Mo.
I talked to my son, Terry in Nashville. His wife is having trouble with one of her eyes. So remember her in your Prayers.
We send Sincere Sympathy to the family of Mary Elizabeth Smith, who passed away Saturday. She was 94 years young.
“Living for Christ brings true freedom.”
Have a Good Week.
