Another week has gone by and in all probability we are going to have some extra “hot” days. It’s already been in the 90s and that is hot enough for me. It seems as if I always have complaints about the weather doesn’t it?

In Joshua 10:13 is the time that time stood still. Isn’t God great? And the sun stood still and the moon stayed until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So, the sun stood still in the midst of heaven and hasted not to go down the whole day.

Enjoying breakfast with their mom Virginia Hart Saturday morning were sons, Jerry, from up the road, and Ronny from Greenville.

Enjoying visiting awhile on the 4th were Sue and Jame Fuller at the Russellville park with special friend from Florida, Roberta Gilliam. It was the annual family reunion so they got to see her and others of the Gilliam family.

Tuesday night Stacey Jernigan and Madison brought my supper. Thank you very much Judy, you do such a good job of fixing those good eats. Judy came down and sat with me awhile Wednesday afternoon.

In talking to former pastor Kenny Cummins of Princeton, he with a church group will be going to Honduras on a mission trip later this month. I forgot to ask if this would be in the area where he and Tammy and the kids used to live.

Also talking to ole Mack Mallory on Saturday, his brother Ed was down Friday from Nashville, and as always, they visited their mom Mrs. Marion Mallory in Creekwood. They took her some eats and I;m sure she enjoyed their visit as well as the food.

Heard at church this morning that Wanda Coursey is in the Medical Center in Bowling Green with the possibility of being transferred somewhere else. Hope she soon is feeling better.

The last Sunday in July, which is the 27th, is homecoming day for the church. Guest speaker will be Bro. Jim Harvey of around Nashville. he has in time past been interim pastor. Doing the special singing will be the very good SNEED Family from Glasgow. If you have never heard them, please come and hear them, they will be singing at 10 a.m.

Hope you had an enjoyable 4th. Elaine had to work, so Stanley took it easy at his house and I did the same, however, he checked in on me 2 or 3 times.

After working the 4th, Elaine did the night shift Saturday and Sunday nights.

So far as I know all else is okay or at least sorta okay.

See ya next time.
