Greetings from the Antioch Community.

Hope you mothers had a very special day Sunday. It was a beautiful day.

We had several visitors at church that came to be with their mothers. They recognized all the mothers with a gift.

Chris Epley sang a special for all the moms. He has a beautiful voice and we love to hear him sing.

Remember our Homecoming May 25th. Bring a covered dish and eat lunch with us. The “Snead Family” will be singing at the 10 o’clock hour.

Dolores Harris and Vanessa Price had their family Sunday for Mother’s Day Dinner. they are about two o’clock after they got home from church. Some had to work and didn’t get to come.

The Christian Family met at Christie and Travis Chick’s home for Mother’s Day Dinner on Sunday night. The men were in charge of the meal, so they had pizza, which everyone enjoyed. Others there were Sheila and Jimmy, Trevor and Emily and children, Nick, Stephani and children.

Today May 13 is the Wedding anniversary of my sister Sue Fuller and husband James. They are doing about the same. They went to church Sunday morning and then went to Jeffery, their oldest son and had Mothers Day Dinner with the family.

Christine White said she had a house full of company for Mothers Days. All her children were there, grandchildren and part of the great-grandchildren.

Jackie White came and brought her breakfast Saturday morning and Dorothy was there.

We had our W.O.M. meeting Tuesday morning in the Fellowship Hall. Ava Nell brought pies and Cynthia brought a pizza. So we had some good eats.

Those present were Cynthia, Vanessa, Ava Nell, Rosie, Marcie, Juanita, Dolores, Myrtle, Melba and me.

The more we understand God’s love for us, the more love will show to others.

Got a Mothers Day card from Sherry Harris in Louisville. She sent her granddaughter’s picture. She sure is a pretty baby.

Have a good week.

P.S. - You are invited to a surprise Birthday Party given for Dolores Harris on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Antioch Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to come.
