Hello, hope you had a good week. We have had some beautiful days, so I do believe spring is here.

In talking to Sandra Sharp the other day, they are still having medial problems. Ray has been back in the hospital, however, that day he was back home. She had also been in the hospital. Maybe by now they are feeling much better.

Sorry Mary Smith has been in the hospital and so has Joyce Chapman. I hear Joyce is home, don’t know if Mary is or not.

John and Jessica Sweeney and girls Kyla and Michaela from Charleston, North Carolina are home for a few days. I haven’t seen them yet, but expect to soon.

Saturday night at the home of Stanley and Elaine and Tara, John and Jessica Sweeney and girls Kyla and Michaela of Charleston, South Carolina had gotten there, and as the family wanted to see them, they met here. There were at least 40 here and one of them was me. They had a shower for the new baby due in July. This was so cute, Michaela had so much fun helping. She gave the packages to her mom and then watched to see what all was in them. Never so much good “stuff” to eat. In June John will be deployed to Saudi Arabia, and the new baby is due in July. Wish John did not have to be deployed. I’m not gonna try to name all that were at the party, except Elaine’s mom, Louise Carver; her 3 sisters, Kim Siegers, Kathy Brigance and Phyllis Ford; her brother, David Browning and spouses, and the kids and grandkids. We had a good time and as I said, lots of eats.

John and Jessica and the girls will be here until Friday.

I say welcome to Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Whitson, they have moved to the farm of his parents Earl and Mildred Whitson. Before their death, they lived on the farm of the former Brown’s school. Several of us attended that school. They moved from Lewisburg. Hope to see them at church.

Seems as if this has been a slow week. I heard Steve Timberlake say this morning he had some beans coming up. Whew, sounds scary to them the next few mornings with frost expected.

Our sympathy to Tommy Shoemaker and family in the death of Betty.

Have a good week and keep the faith. See ya!
