Howdy, hope you had a good week, and feeling pretty perky.
Got a call Saturday from my great-granddaughter Kayla in Georgia, her birthday was Friday and she called, as she had gotten my card. She is a busy girl working and schooling too. It was good to hear from her.
James Fuller is home after several days this past week in the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Sue stayed most of the time with him. Glad he is home and hopefully soon feeling much better.
David and Stacey Jernigan brought my supper Tuesday night. Then one afternoon Judy Jernigan and Dean Harrell and her helper Judy Nieman was in. On Tuesday Dr. Lynwood Montell of Bowling Green was here, so away we go in Logan, Butler and Muhlenberg Counties and we ate lunch at Haley’s Roost in Dunmor. They are now having Karaoke, and they played and sang for us and we really enjoyed it.
Filling in the pulpit at Elk Lick this morning in the absence of Bro. Art and Jane Hatfield were Bro. Carmel and Mrs. Hoskins, former pastor of Antioch. He did a good job. Bro. Art and Jane went to a special occasion at their former pastorate in Clarkson.
Enjoying breakfast Friday morning with Virginia Hart were son Terry and granddaughter Maranda and on Saturday for breakfast she fed son Jerry from up the road and son Ronny from Greenville. She always enjoys fixing eats for the family.
Elaine brought me in the prettiest bouquet of flowers. I’ve heard them called all different names, so I’m just gonna say yellow spring flowers. They are so pretty and have a sweet smell. I like them.
David Jernigan came and carried me to church this morning as Steve Timberlake was already involved, as he usually comes and gets me when I can go. There is usually one or the other that gets me there. So many thanks.
Friday was the birthday of Marvine Borders. Well the family surprised her with a supper Saturday night. Others there were Connie Williams and Conner, Freddie and Barbara Borders, Jeff and Erin Borders and girls, Stephannie and Patrick Coursey and kids, Freida and Mark Pitchford from Paris, Illinois, Brett and Olivia Pitchford and children of Bowling Green and Andy and Keitha Pitchford and boys of Nashville. All having a good time I’m sure.
Sunday was such a beautiful day, yet a wee bit chilly, so maybe spring is really here.
Have a good week and smile and know God loves you.
