If you have taken a good look at your calendar, January is already half gone. Does time just seem to fly? It does to me. I told Bob one time, I get up and it’s Monday. I go to bed and it’s Friday already. And I hear younger people talk about how fast the time goes.
James and Sue Fuller spent the day Wednesday in Bowling Green seeing doctors. They did more laser surgery and also a biopsy. he is to hear from that procedure this week. Hope he gets a good report. Sue, bless her heart, is still having back problems. Wish both could get to feeling better.
Our sympathy to Grayden Dale and Barbara Belilies in the death of their son Michael, bless his soul. He had been in bad health for so long and was so young. God bless.
I’ve noticed in the obits this past week, they were all so young. So be prepared for your afterlife with Christ in Heaven.
Little Bryce Taylor, 9 month old son of Josh and Kayla Stuart Taylor, was rushed to Vandy Hospital in Nashville via life flight early Wednesday morning. after becoming ill. Last report, the tests conducted were negative. He is the grandson of Kathryn Stuart and the late James Stuart. I’m hoping by now he is back home and doing great.
Several years ago, and it was because I think Louise and I were about 13, she and I would go to Uncle Lushion and Aunt Thelma Agee in Todd County and visit, go to church revivals and walk of course. Well there was this neighbor boy, about 17, that always walked with us and boy was he a cutie. I thought he was the cutest thing around. When we got older we became good friends and were still. Well I got a card from his daughter this week that he, Lyndl Ray Tabb, had passed away on July 12th. She had found a Christmas card and got my address. I appreciate her letting me know.
On Saturday Steven and Heather Cross, with Leah and Heath, attended a swim meet at Campbellsville college where their son Devin is a member of the team. Also attending were grandparents Debbie and Steve Timberlake. They spent the day enjoying lunch out with Devon. They all had a great day. We miss Devon when he is unable to be home.
Lannie Jernigan had a couple of stents replaced Thursday in Greenview Hospital, and as a result, had to stay overnight. He is home now and seems to be doing okay.
Those that have been in this week were Marvine Borders and Dr. Lynwood Montell, WKU retired professor. We rode around and found 3 roads we had not been on, then it was time to eat. We chose the new restaurant in Lewisburg, The Country Charm, and found the food most good. The prices were reasonable, so we enjoyed it very much. If you are out and about, you might enjoy your stop there very much.
Until next time, have a good week and God bless.
