I do believe winter has come. The weathermen are predicting more snow, icy conditions and very low temps. Burr, I dread it for those that have to be out going to work, but appreciate their efforts. The snow falling was very pretty, and I don’t think I ever saw it fall as heavy and as fast. I looked out and it was falling, looked out again in a few minutes and the ground was already covered.
Our sympathy to the family of Mrs. Neice Harris.
Glad Bob Birdwhistle has had his surgery in Nashville and is now in Creekwood for extra therapy. Hope he can soon be home. That family has had it rough this past year, keep them in prayer, they will appreciate it.
Jerry Hart spent some hours in St. Thomas this week. Hope he is doing much better.
The Sunday school teacher asked her class, “Why do we need to be quite in church?” You can probably guess her answer. “Because the people can sleep” And ain’t it the truth.
Sorry Dick Dickerson has been in the hospital 2 times recently. He is home and hopes he keeps feeling better.
Sherry Harris of Louisville visited her cousin Joe Harris Sunday afternoon and night. Then Monday morning came over here. Later Sue Fuller and Louise Henderson both came. We had a pot luck lunch and a good time visiting. She slept overnight here with me before heading back to Louisville Tuesday morning. We always enjoy her visits. She is such a joy to know.
Sunday afternoon the weathermen predicted ugly noises I don’t like to hear, however, we will wait and see.
Can you remember so far to write 2014? As time goes on, maybe it will get easier.
Jeff Fuller visited awhile Monday afternoon. It is always good to see that kid. I know he is not a kid, but is to me. He does taxes if you need a preparer. I admire anyone that can do that job. To me, it is hard.
Be careful as you go about your duties, especially in the days of bad weather. The roads can be so slippery and dangerous.
See ya next time. God bless.
