At the beginning of the month it was 70 degrees and sunny, and now towards the end of the month it looks like its the perfect weather for Santa’s arrival. Christmas is less than a week away, I don’t know about you but I am ready for the excitement.

I would like to share some of my amazing memories of my past Christmases, my dad would always get up very early to make a gigantic breakfast for my family. Of course at the age I was, I liked my sleep more than opening presents that was under the tree. Dad would come in my room, sit on my bed, and whisper in my ear “its Christmas morning, time to get up and open your presents and after you do that, then you can sleep all day.”

we all would gather around the tree and pass out presents one by one, but one year I noticed all my twin brother and I had under the tree was clothes. It broke my heart thinking I didn’t have any new toys to play with, right as my lip quivered up and tears started to run down my face, my dad told us too look out side and there sat two mini motorcycles and it made my day.

Lets keep our sick in mind during this holiday season

Lauren Burton is going back and forth between the hospital and home and her and her family needs your prayers

Nannette King and her family still need your thoughts and prayers

Marry Ann Davis is still in the hospital but I hear that she is improving a little more each day

Jean Steenbergen is still in need of your prayers

Carol Heart is at home but is still needing your prayers

Jo Ann Smith has been moved to Creekwood Rehabilitation center in Russellville and is doing great

My shout out this week goes to the kindergarten teachers at Adairville Elementary School, I would like to thank you for letting me be apart of your classroom, and letting me be apart of the children’s learning. I have a new respect for what you do. I have grown to want to help the kids, and better their futures. I am sad that this week was my last week, but keep inspiring the kids to work harder for their future.

My second shout out this week goes out to Debra Ramsey also know as Debbie from headquarters, you are an amazing friend, woman, artist and an excellent craft maker. when you set your mind on something you make sure you get it done. You are such an amazing mother, and grandmother, and I can imagine next door neighbor. You do so much good, and always has a positive attitude about everything.

Lets keep in our hearts the Military that will not get to spend the holidays with their loved ones, but instead they our fighting for our freedom.

I hope everyone has a very great weekend and a very merry Christmas, I am exited to see what Santa clause has for me under the tree.

Merry Christmas everyone.
