Hello from the cold blustery town of Adairville, I hope everyone has had a great safe week and it is reassuring to know that the weekend is finally here and that Christmas is only a short amount of time away. I hope everyone has went out and got their Christmas gifts already, if not I would try and get that done as soon as possible.
The town is lit up in beautiful Christmas lights and the square is decorated for Santa’s arrival, I don’t know about you but I am looking forward to seeing jolly old St. Nick in his red suite and all his reindeer Christmas eve.
The Christmas decoration judging done by the chamber of commerce was December 9th, I am sorry that I did not notify you when this was taking place I did not have any information on this event.
Lewisburg banking company is having costumer appreciation day Friday December 13th at the office in Adairville.
Author Melanie Meadow has rescheduled the book signing at the Country Angel Gift Shop for this Saturday December the 14th 11am-2pm Road conditions December the 7th prevented Ms. Meadow from traveling to our town last weekend. Those who ordered signed copies of “The Waking Up” may pick them up after 11am Saturday. a $50.00 gift certificate will be awarded by the Country Angel.
Lauren Burton is going back and forth between the hospital and home and her and her family needs your prayers
Nannette King and her family still need your thoughts and prayers
Marry Ann Davis is still in the hospital but I hear that she is improving a little more each day
Jean Steenbergen is still in need of your prayers
Carol Heart is at home but is still needing your prayers
Jo Ann Smith has been moved to Creekwood Rehabilitation center in Russellville
One of my shout outs this week goes out to Marry Johnson, Mrs. Marry you make me smile every time I see you stroll in through the resturants doors, you make me laugh until I can hardly breathe and I love your truthful personality. You are an amazing Christian woman and deservs a around of applause.
My second shout out goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Barns, I love how if anyone is in need you are always there to help, your family has inspired me to be a better Christian. I can always count on you to make my day better, many others and my self appreciate everything you do and keep up the great job.
