Greetings from the Antioch community.
The reason my items were not in the paper last week was because I was sick and in bed and wasn’t able to write.
Myrtle Pogue enjoyed her 92nd birthday from Thursday through Saturday. Got 21 cards. Got several local calls. Got a call from Louisville, some from Ohio and Indiana. Gifts she got was 2 bracelets, 2 pies, loaf of sour dough bread, big beautiful mum, duster, $125 in money. Thanks to all who thought of me on my birthday.
Visitors were Dorothy Henderson, Darlene, Lorrie Hopper, James Thornberry and Cynthia. Thanks to all and all I had a wonderful birthday.
Brandon and Abbie Appling spent the weekend with their grandmother Vannessa Pric3e and great-grandma Dolores Harris and attended church Sunday morning with them.
Genia Hoskins did the special at church Sunday morning.
A group of 19 left after church Sunday morning and went to the Plantation House and ate lunch. I hear the food was really good. I didn’t get to go.
James and Sue were feeling better Sunday and attended church. Sue has been real sick with this virus. I had it too and also Hazel. We all took it at the same time. Sure wasn’t funny.
Sue (Key) Addison is home from California visiting her mom, son and family in Kentucky.
The smallest light still shines in the darkest night.
Have a good week.
