Greetings from the Antioch Community.
I enjoyed a call from my cousin, Ulene Delk, on Saturday. She reads the news in the paper. Thanks!
Visiting with me Saturday was Richard Estes. I sure was glad to see him.
The Lear Homecoming was held in Lewisburg on Sunday and also a surprise birthday party for Ronnie Thornberry.
Visiting with Dolores Harris on Sunday was her son Danny.
Visiting with Myrtle Pogue on Thursday and Friday was Lewis and Joyce White. They all attended the Funeral of Dorris Stevenson and also Darlene was there.
Bro. Albert Clardy filled the pulpit for us Sunday morning. We really enjoyed hearing him.
Bro. Carmel is to be home Wednesday.
Joyce McIntosh spent a few days in the Medical Center. She is home now and doing some better.
My sister Sue Fuller had another spell with her back and isn’t working now. James is still having trouble with his breathing.
Remember Saturday, Sept. 21 is time for the Reunion in the Activity building at Elk Lick. Everyone is welcome. Just bring a covered dish for a pot luck dinner.
Lasley Johnson (my cousin) called me this morning. He is feeling better.
Tuesday was the day for Dr. Larry Gotts to be on Feedback with Don. It was a good program with people calling in with questions and the good doctor gave the answers. Dr. Gotts is a very good doctor and is willing to take time out of his busy schedule to do the Feedback program with Don. Don and Dr. Gotts are two special guys.
True peace is not the absence of war, it is the presence of God.
Have a Good Week.
