Edward Harold Woodall, 85, of Lewisburg, passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville.
He was born Sept. 1, 1928, in Logan County, a son of the late Ard Woodall and the late Myrtle Jenkins Woodall. In addition to his parents, Mr. Woodall was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Gibbs Woodall; his son, Mike Woodall; his brothers, Claude Woodall, Richard Woodall, Charlie Woodall and Exie Woodall, and his sisters, Eula Davis, Ava Warren, Magadelene Brown and Madie Woodall.
Mr. Woodall worked at Western Kentucky Tractor for 20 plus years. After that, he owned and operated Woodall’s Tractor Service. He was also a farmer throughout all those years. He was a United States Army veteran of Korea and a member of Bald Knob C.P. Church, Big Muddy Creek, and the Soil Conservation.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. at Price Funeral Home with the Reverend Sam Foreman, Reverend Byron Dumas and Reverend Sam Romines officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery in Logan County. Visitation will begin at the funeral home Friday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m.
He is surviving by his son, Marion “Woody” Woodall (Gail) of Auburn; his brothers, Wendell Woodall and Bobby Woodall, both of Russellville; his sisters, Earlene Steenbergen and Faye Clark, both of Russellville; his grandchildren, Tracy Lockhart of Lewisburg and Shane Woodall, Erica Hubbs (Brandon), Tabitha Woodall and Savanna Woodall, all of Auburn, and six great-grandchildren.
