Harold Anthony “Tony” Stuart, age 52, of Springfield, Tenn., died Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 9 at the Keysburg Baptist Church with Brother Steve Woody officiating. Burial followed in the Stuart’s Chapel Cemetery in Lewisburg with Lino Chavez, Darrell Johnson, Josh Roution, Cliff Stuart, Randy Eidson and Phil Johnson serving as pallbearers.
Tony was born Dec. 26, 1961, in Louisville, to the late Gilbert and Novella Irene Cole Stuart.
He was a member of Keysburg Baptist Church and was retired as Director of Facilities Services at North Crest Medical Center, having started work at the old Jesse Holman Jones Hospital. Tony loved his family, singing and playing the guitar and growing tomatoes. His passion was helping others.
Surviving him are his wife, Leah Stuart of Springfield; his daughter, Robyn Stuart and her fiancée, Anthony Langham, both of Springfield, Tenn.; his brothers, Ray (Karen) Stuart of Gallatin, Tenn. and Darrell Stuart of Hopkinsville; his sister, Linda (Skip) Johnson of Keysburg; the mother of his daughter, Debbie Montgomery of Georgia, and best friend and pastor, Steve Woody of Springfield, Tenn.
The family request that if so desired memorial donations may be made in memory of Tony to the Tony Stuart funeral fund. All donations can be sent to the Robertson County Funeral Home.
