In cooperation with TVA, the Russellville Electric Plant Board will be making improvements to its electrical distribution system, working in sections of its northern territory Saturday, Sept. 6th, beginning at approximately 11 p.m.
For the crews to work on our equipment safely, it will be necessary to interrupt electrical service for approximately 2-3 hours.
“The Russellville Electic Plant Board is committed to delivering safe, reliable electric service to our customers. We regret the temporary inconvenience,” said Robert White of the EPB. “We are notifying you so that that you may make any necessary provisions to minimize the discomfort associated with the temporary loss of power. Please note that the power may be off for the whole period or may be turned off more than once. This planned outage may not begin exactly at the stated start time. The times noted are our best estimate and circumstances may affect both the start time and the completion time indicated above.”
This work will be rescheduled in the event of inclement or extreme weather.
