With temperatures rising and spring cleaning in full bloom, where to take what you no longer want is a question answered in the City of Auburn.

Each year Auburn hosts a “Cleanup Days” event in which the citizens can dispose of unwanted stuff free of charge.

“Cleanup Days” are scheduled for Thursday, May 8, 9 and 10. A receptacle will be located at the parking lot of the old Hosiery Mill on Main Street. The free dumping will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.

Please do not bring tires, brush, paint cans, batteries, construction debris, or hazardous material, as it will not be accepted. You will be required to bring in an Auburn city water bill or stub for admittance. No home pickup or curbside service will be available.
