Russellville senior football player Rashawn Jones signed a national letter of intent to play football at Ketucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro.
Jones played offensive guard and linebacker/defensive end for the Panthers this past season as they won 10 games en route to a regional runner up finish to the season.
He started for RHS for three seasons and was recruited to Kentucky Wesleyan to play linebacker and defensive end.
“Rashawn is a tremendous young man with a super work ethic,” said RHS coach John Myers. “He was a lot of fun to coach. I am very proud of this decision by Rashawn and look forward to seeing him progress at the next level. I am confident he will represent RHS positively at KWC.”
Jones is the son of Bruce and Crystal Jones and Carrie and Antonia Ruffin.
