On Tuesday night, Logan County teams would invite Tennessee teams from Rossview to play. The Lady Cougars would have a slow start to the game and would fall 57-33 to the Lady Hawks. The Cougars would also have a rough beginning to their game and end the game with a loss of 68-60. In between games, LCHS would recognize their many winter sport seniors and their family for their dedication to their sports.

The Lady Cougars would have a very slow start to the game with the Lady Hawks playing strong defense. The Lady Cougars would only score six points in the first quarter while the Lady Hawks put up 19. The Lady Cougars would pick up their game in the second half of the game, but would still end the first half down 14 points with a score of 20-34.

The Lady Hawks would come into the game from halftime and turn up the intensity even more. They would put up 18 points and hold the Lady Cougars to only five points in the third quarter. The fourth quarter would go by quick for both teams and the Lady Hawks would walk away with a 24 point win.

Senior Laura Hunt would lead the Lady Cougars with nine points. She was followed by Taleia Mason with seven and Maegann Hardison with six.

The Lady Cougars would recognize four seniors on Tuesday. These include Laura Hunt, Katelyn Jones, Megan Lindsey and Deja Thompson.

The Cougars would play next and come out strong, but the Hawks offense would work hard to take a lead early in the game. The Cougars would trail 10-16 after the first quarter. The Cougars would pick up their game, but the Hawks would take off in the second quarter and increase their lead. The Hawks would end the first half with a nine point lead of 32-23 over the Cougars.

Both teams would keep up their game in the third quarter but the Hawks would still hold a 10 point lead over the Cougars. The fourth quarter was intense for both teams as the Cougars put up 26 points, but the Hawks lead was too great. The Cougars would fall by eight points with a score 60-68.

Senior Landon Stratton would lead the Cougars with 19 points. Ben Wright would follow with 15 and senior Clint Knight would finish with 9 points.

The Cougars would recognize three seniors on Tuesday. These include Clint Knight, J.R. Morrow and Landon Stratton.

The Logan County teams will host a double-head game next Tuesday against South Warren. The Lady Cougars will begin the night at 6:00 p.m. and the Cougars will follow.
