Stevenson Elementary School will be having its first school make-over days this week on Wednesday and Friday.

New principal Lisa White is inviting parents and staff out to the school each day in order to help spruce up the building and

“We have a little painting to do in the bathrooms, plants to plant, decorations to hang in the bathrooms, maybe a bird aviary to put together, cleaning in B’s garden, etc.,” White said.

The make-over days will start at 8 a.m. and last until 3 p.m. both days, but volunteers can come at any time.

“People can come and stay for a short of a time, or just drop supplies off or stay as long as they want,” White said.

There are some items needed to help with the renovations and if anyone is interested in making a donation, it would be appreciated.

Some of the items needed include: potting soil, perennials, kitten food, pine bedding, a outdoor trashcan, bathroom decorations (super hero, princesses, flowers, peace signs, sports, space).
