Katelyn R. Scales has been appointed as an agent with Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) Insurance at Logan County Farm Bureau. Scales’ appointment was announced in Louisville by Chuck Osborne, Vice President of Agency Support & Marketing for KFB Insurance.
Scales, who earned a degree in agriculture from Western Kentucky University, joins Logan County Farm Bureau after working for the past four years as a manager at Scales Dairy Farm.
In her new position, Scales will call on the residents of Logan County to offer a wide variety of insurance coverage through Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance. She will work with Agency Manager, Mike Baugh, and the staff at Logan County Farm Bureau located at 426 East Fourth Street in Russellville.
Scales joins a well-established network of approximately 400 Kentucky Farm Bureau agents statewide. The company, founded in 1944, has offices in all of the Commonwealth’s 120 counties. Farm Bureau markets a wide variety of insurance lines, from homeowner’s and automobile coverage to life and health insurance and retirement planning.
The insurance services are affiliated with Logan County Farm Bureau, one of the largest membership organizations in the county. Farm Bureau members have access to a variety of membership services, including discount buying programs, college scholarships, farm marketing, and leadership development activities.

Scales is a graduate of Russellville High School and Western Kentucky University. She is the daughter of Adam and Becky Scales of Russellville.
