On Tuesday, Aug. 12, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Logan County High School in cooperation with the South Central Drug Task Force (SCKDTF) and three K-9 units from the Russellville Police Department, Simpson County Jail and Madisonville Police, conducted a lock-down drill at the school. During this drill the K-9 units were used inside and outside school grounds.

“This drill is one of several that will be conducted by Logan County High School and South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force in an effort to reduce the selling and possession of narcotics in and around our school system,” said Jacky Dunlap, director for the SCKDTF.
