On Monday night, the Stevenson Elementary School site-based decision making council reached a decision on the school’s next principal on Monday night.

The council voted to offer the job to Russellville High School assistant principal Lisa White and she has accepted the position.

“A special thanks to the Stevenson council members for many long hours of work in the search process,” said Russellville schools superintendent Leon Smith. “And congratulations to Ms. Lisa White!”

White has worked primarily with the middle school wing at Russellville for the past two years. Prior to that, she was the head of the alternative school for RHS and also spent several years as a teacher at Stevenson.
