An altercation on the outskirts of Auburn Monday, Feb. 10 left one man with several stab wounds and a trip to the hospital.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Department the Logan County dispatch center (911) received a call at approximately 6:22 p.m. telling that Jason Schutt of Auburn was bleeding and may have been stabbed.
When deputies arrived the initial indications were that Schutt had numerous stab wounds. Deputies reported the stab wounds resulted from some type of altercation with David Maddox, a neighbor of Schutt.
Schutt was transported to the Medical Center in Bowling Green by the Logan County EMS for treatment.
The case is being investigated by detective Charles Dauley of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department. The case remains under investigation at this time. No arrests have been made at this time.
As of Feb. 10, Schutt remained at the Medical Center in stable condition. No additional information is being released at this time.
