Mr. and Mrs. Barry Johnson of Adairville are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kelsey Diane Johnson, to Philip Lynn Gibbs Jr. of Memphis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Gibbs Sr. of Gallatin, Tenn.

Miss Johnson is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy Cowan of Adairville and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Johnson of Adairville.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Logan County High School and a 2013 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Memphis.

Mr. Gibbs is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Rinker of Gallatin, Tenn. and Mrs. Mildred Gibbs of Tahlequah, Okla.

The bridegroom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Logan County High School, a 2010 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Alabama’s Manderson Graduate School of Business with an MBA. He currently works at FedEx Express as a financial analyst.

The wedding is planned for May 10, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. at Adairville Baptist Church. All friends and family are invited to attend.
